First time Configuration

Upon receiving your device and wearing it for the first time, the HMT will be asking you for a configuration code.

This can be generated from your Web Browser or your Realwear Mobile Companion Application.

Using the Web Browser

Navigate to https://realwear.setupmyhmt.com/configure

Select either HMT-1 or HMT-1Z1 as appropriate.

Select Configuration from the top left hand side of the page and choose First Configuration

Select the Time & Date

Enter the name of the router manually.

Select the Password Security WPA/WPA2 PSK.

Enter your password

Generate your QR code

Using the Companion app:

Download the Realwear Companion app from either Google Play or iOS store.

Open the Configuration tab

Select First Configuration

Select the Language

Select the Time & Date

Select the Network you want to join

If you are unable to select the network, then you can enter the name of the router manually. Select the Password Security WPA/WPA2 PSK.
Enter your password

Generate your QR code

Scan with the headset


Note your SSID/Network Name must be exact (including all caps, spaces & special characters)
