There are two main concepts to learning to operate the HMT-1:
Say what you see
Global Commands
To interact with applications and functions, you will see visual prompts on the screen. Examples of these are:
Applications: Say the name of the application to interact
Numbers: Use the command ‘Select item x’ to interact with numbers
Application labels: Visual commands can be seen in applications for instance ‘Record Video’ or ‘Zoom Level 4’
Show Help - Displays pop-up window with global commands and contextual commands in applications.
Navigate Home - Navigates to Home Screen.
Navigate Back - Navigates to previous screen.
Select Item ‘x’ – Where numbers appear to interact with applications, use this command to select the appropriate number.
Mute Microphone - Mutes the microphone temporarily.
My Notifications - Opens Notification section.
Recent Applications - Opens Applications running in background.
